Villa El Palmar is the most elaborately restored and most beautiful mansion of the island. The two independent living quarters (the front building "El Hornillo" and the side building "Los Madroños") are arranged around a sunny patio with a nice view of the village and over the lovely landscape.
The house owners paid a lot of attention to detail, spent much time and effort, in order to restore the building to the state of 1890 as well as adjusting it to the requirements of today. The one hundred years old bedframes for instance were extended by hand so that they would fit two-metres-mattresses. Fabric wallpaper, enamelled engaging spring light switches, a canopy bed, a bathtub with view over Vallehermoso... In short: pure ambience.

The villa provides a high-speed internet connection for free. Each living quarter is arranged for at maximum four persons. The centre of the village with restaurants and small shops is located at a distance of 400 m, a concreted footpath leads to the house (150 m from the parking lot).

Vallehermoso – the authentic Gomera

The serpentine road winds its way down the evergreen valley. Impressive mountains, fairy woods and a rough coast are the natural barriers of Vallehermoso. The guard and symbol of Vallehermoso is Roque Cano, a huge rock rising above the village, that has been (a very long time ago) La Gomera's first volcano.
