"Dear Timo & Tabea, Really, you've made us extremely happy with the fantastic arrangement of our holiday at the beginning of this year in Casa de la Seda. We spent a marvelous time there, the weather was great, the sunsets were breathtakingly beautiful and the whole trip went just as smoothly as you had explained it to us on paper. Goyo was very nice and friendly, and even invited us to spend one night in his own house in Vallehermoso, at a time when there was a very loud party going on at the square in front of the Ermita de los Reyes (the day after Twelfth Night)..."

"We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our recent holiday in La Gomera. We were particularly appreciative of the arrangements you made which worked perfectly, and of the accommodation which suited our needs admirably. The helpfulness and courtesy of everyone concerned was notable, perhaps particularly Mr Goyo who proveded us with copious amounts of fruit, avacado pears and water to welcome our arrival. Both our locations were splendid and we regretted only having not stayed for longer. We drove around the entire island, exploring, walking, sketching and painting, swam several times in the sea, and much enjoyed mingling with the friendly hippy society at Valle Gran Rey. I'm sure we will want to come back to you for another holiday in the future."

"Dear Timo and Tabea, Hereby we want to thank you for the excellent organisation of our holidays on la Gomera. We were very pleased to find everything well arraged at our arrival: the man from the car-rental company waiting for us at the harbour, the route-description being very clear and the keys of the appartment being in place and easy to find. And most of all we enjoyed the apartment (Goyo), which was very well equiped and very thoroughly cleaned! We were happily surprised to find a huge bowl of fresh fruits and freshly picked flowers in the apartment at our arrival. Could you please thank the owner of the apartment for that (and also for him kindly bringing us even more fruit during our stay and showing us how to cook the regional dish of cooked bananas with garlic). If we can leave our review somewhere and recommend the appartment to other people, we would be pleased to do that. Best regards, Sebastiaan and Nina"

"Dear Timo and Tabea, We are pleased to let you know you that we had a wonderful holiday in your lovely apartment! As a result of the huge amount of work we found back home, we did not manage to contact you earlier. So, apologies for the delay of this message. It was our first visit to La Gomera, so it was a great ‘tropical’ surprise for us. We especially enjoyed the variety of landscape, plants, colors of stone, smells, etc. Almost every day we took a walk in the mountains, e.g., through the Barranco de Argaga via Gerian back to the apartment; climbing Fortaleza; from Hermigua to Los Acevinos; and through the Guarimiarigorge near Imada, so we experienced the differences between West, North, and South of La Gomera. We enjoyed the hospitality of you and Goyo very much! What a surprise to be welcomed by him and the local fruits and flowers and a bottle of wine! So many thanks for the wonderful holiday we owe to your apartment and your and Goyo’s hospitality! Best regards, Helen and Rob"
Helen & Rob "We just wanted to thank you for organising such a wonderful holiday for us, we really loved the apartment and the view from the balcony was spectacular. We did a lot of walking and we really loved the area and had a wonderful week exploring. The weather was great, just right for walking and hot enough to sunbathe on some days. Anyway we just wanted to let you know how well it all went and how delighted we were with it all."
Ruth & John "just to say thanks for our stay at la gomera, we had an excellent time and loved every minute of it! hopefully we'll get back and stay again soon!"

The most famous place of the island is Gomera's touristy centre with its mainly German-speaking infrastructure - some call it "Berlin with palms"... Between steep rugged rock discloses an enthralling cultivated landscape, which captivates guests and inhabitants each day from anew: terraces with hundreds of date palms, fruit trees and flower gardens are stretching across the slopes to both sides of the serpentine road leading to the coast. »our most beautiful pictures of Valle Gran Rey
